Chicago Med Season 1 DVD Box Set:Big casting news for "Chicago Med". The "Chicago Fire/Chicago PD" spinoff has brought on "Pretty Little Liars" and "The Vampire Diaries" alum Torrey DeVitto in a recurring role.

According to Deadline, DeVitto has joined the cast of Chicago Med as a pregnant emergency room doctor named Dr. Lilly Manning. She is one of three leads being cast after Laurie Holden's exit which was announced earlier this week.

Holden, best known for her work on "The Walking Dead" said in a statement, "I am so grateful to Dick Wolf, my fellow cast members, NBC and the entire Chicago Med team for their understanding," Holden said in a statement. "Sometimes we must make tough choices and, for family reasons, not doing Chicago Med is one of those for me at this time. I know the show is going to be a huge success and I'll be watching."
